One Awesome Watch November 5, 2009 Kristopher Contreras (Florida) 15 out of 17 found this review helpful
First of all, I just want to say that this watch looks great on the wrist, and it has a decent size. I like all of the features provided on this watch. First of all, the Altimeter, Barometer, and Compass are amongst the favorite of my features. The Barometer can be extremely accurate, along with the compass. Sometimes the Altimeter can bee off measurement, but you can adjust that. I've been wearing this watch for several days now and I plan to never take it off. It just has features that blow every other watch I have in my collection away. I always use the stopwatch and countdown timers on any digital that I have and this one adds ABC features on top of those as well; world time, atomic time keeping, and solar power, and 100 meter water resistance are all just pluses in an already feature laden time piece. Not to mention the sunrise and sunset time's feature, which is really useful for maximizing the use of one day. All in All, I give this watch five stars from a dramatic improvement on Casio's part from the PAW-1300.
This watch does it all! January 31, 2010 Fan of 24 (California, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for my husband who wanted a watch that sat comfortably on his wrist without being too bulky and had a lot of great features. This watch seems to fit the bill perfectly. It is large but light and thin and the features are packed into the watch enough to impress my gadget-loving husband. The price is really reasonable compared to what you get from other companies for the same price, I think. It comes in an eco-friendly wooden box, if you care about that kind of thing.
Awesome Digital Watch February 9, 2010 K. Freeman (Dallas, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sweet watch, my first Pathfinder. The manual on this thing is an inch thick. It's got all the necessary functions. If you are looking for that "end of the world" watch that does it all, look no further. It looks like it would take a bullet!
Titanium version - sweet!! November 8, 2009 I. Izet (SF Bay Area) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I got the Ti version of this off Ebay actually, my first Pathfinder on Titanium. A little hesitant in the beginning, but now it's my everyday banger. Lighter than paper, the Ti case and bracelet are very comfortable.
The bracelet looks a bit too shiny, and scratches, obviously, but you'll get over it. It's a Pathfinder!!!
Cheers,
Bob
Great Watch February 23, 2010 C. Yi (Honolulu, HI USA) I bought this watch just before my snowboarding trip this year. I didn't want to chance bringing up my Tag watch but wanted something reliable and with low maintenance. This watch is great!! I was afraid it was gonna be huge but its the perfect size. Very easy to setup, didn't really have to read through the manual, its pretty straightforward. The sensor were pretty accurate out of the box. When on the mountain it measured the altitude perfectly. The only thing that urks me little was the fact that I needed to take off the watch for awhile to get a accurate temp reading. There are so many other features that I don't even come close to using them all. The world time definitely came in handy when I was traveling into different timezones. Also the world sync ensures that the time on the watch is accurate. I was a little worried I'd scratch the face up when i took it up on the mountain for no scratches so far. The best thing about this watch is that it is solar powered, no batteries to worry about.
